Featuring a hip hop bungee dance performance from BandBazi Youth Circus Theatre participants, a film showing, rap performances, music and a talk about climate change and refugees this will be an evening of fun and entertainment that will also raise awareness about serious issues.
It is the opening event in a week of Refugee Week happenings around the town supported by Brighton and Hove City Council.
There will be an exhibition of photos from BandBazi's 'What's Stopping Me?' photography project with young refugees and asylum seekers and a small exhibition about climate change provided by Brighton Peace and Environment Centre's Climate Connections project in the bar area plus snacks and refreshments provided by Brighon Voices in Exile from 6.30pm.
